North East and Beyond Sugar Glider event TOMORROW!!!

This will be a fun event for everyone one, adults and children alike.

FUN!!

We are dedicated to these little critters and want to make everyone aware of what they can add to the world of pet owners. For the kids, there will be a coloring and craft station full of sugar glider related materials as well as a wild life educator there to teach the kids about handling and caring for pets. There will also be great conversation and new friends for the adults.



FOOD!

This event will be catered by Southport Brewing Company. They will be offering lunch foods, drinks, and there will be coffee in the morning.



LEARNING!

There will be a wildlife educator there to speak about these animal's in the wild. We are also inviting local veterinarians to the event to speak about the health needs of these animals. There is a lot of misconceptions about the health requirements of sugar gliders and having a vet there teach and educate the sugar glider community, could save a sugar glider's life. We will also be educating kids of the proper handling techniques for all small animals and the responsibilities that come with pet ownership.

Guest Speaker will be there at 2:30 PM to give her presentation and take some questions.

THE RAFFLE!

We are raffling off all types of fun sugar glider related items! The money from each raffle ticket purchased will go towards Hope for Gliders (www.hopeforgliders.org) . They provide foster homes, veterinary care, and LOVE to the thousands of homeless gliders. They are also working on opening a sactuary that will house gliders that are not able to be placed in permanent homes due to special needs.



There will be many items in this raffle for the sugar gliders, and their owners. I will list them as I acquire them. If you are interested in donating to this raffle, please contact me @ lindsayg@furryfamilysupplies.com

There will be out of state guests coming to this event and we have done everything we can to make this even as inexpensive as possible.

Room Rates: $69+tax for the standard room w/ fridge and microwave.
2 full beds or 1 king
$79+tax for a suite, which is a one room, but much larger and also has a fridge and microwave.
1 king and also a pull out sofa/bed

There is NO FEE FOR BRINGING YOUR ANIMALS!!
